Beginning in the 9th grade, C-Town Business expands upon our partnerships with the BUILD program and Bunker Hill Community College to provide a unique opportunity for students to explore topics and careers in Business. In the 10th grade, students enroll as dual-enrollment students at Bunker Hill, and begin earning college credits that can be used towards an industry recognized degree at Bunker Hill or transferable to many other institutions. Over the course of the program, students can earn up to 30 college credits, all FREE of charge.

Centered around project-based learning and real world experiences, students are able to learn effective business models and strategies. Working in small teams, students ultimately design, produce, market, and sell their own products.

Through career development opportunities such as workshops, mentoring, job shadows, summer jobs, and internships, students are exposed to multiple careers and understand the steps necessary to be successful in the workforce.

In the 11th and 12th grade, students will take classes at Bunker Hill Community College.

Does my child have to ‘test into’ C-Town Business?

No. Enrolling in C-Town Tech does not require an entrance exam.

How much does the program cost?

NOTHING! It is entirely free to students and families!

Are their any summer or after-school commitments?

Yes. Over the course of the year there will be times when students are expected to stay after-school or participate in extracurricular activities.
